Error description
After upgrading either Notes Client to 9.0.1 Fix Pack 4, remote connections using the Domino Console (jconsole.exe) fail with the following message: "Either the Server Controller is not running on host <...> or it is not listening on port 2050." In 9.0.1 FP3, using the below work around resolves the issue. Set the following as an environment variable on workstations used to administer servers. Variable: JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS Value: -Dcom.ibm.jsse2.disableSSLv3=false As soon as 9.0.1 Fix Pack4 is installed, the same error throws again. After removing Fix Pack4 and re-installing Fix Pack 3 no error.
