Closed as program error.
Error description
Traveler 9.0.1.4 and 9.0.1.5 environments has been generating this error "could not generate deviceType Object" for various users and devices on the domino console. These errors though are not severe and wont affect device sync it would affect the stats and administration data.
Local fix
Problem summary
This problem exists for stand alone as well as HA systems using an enterprise database. The Administrative error message has been resolved.
Problem conclusion
The IBM Traveler server has been updated to resolve this issue. The error message will continue to disappear as devices start to sync with traveler server.
Temporary fix
This fix will be included in IBM Traveler 9016 and all later releases. For the latest maintenance release available please see this technote: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
