APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • For Domino server versions from 9.0.1 up, mail rules created in
iNotes cannot be edited in the Notes client.
Steps to reproduce:
1. In iNotes, create a new mail rule.
2. Open the mail rules for the same user in a Notes client.
3. Click 'edit' on the mail rule pane.
Result: no error, but nothing happens.
- It is possible to enable and disable the rule, only editing
is impacted

Local fix

  • 1. Edit the rule in iNotes
2. Creating a LotusScript action to open the mailrule in a new
window allows for successful editing - it is only the Notes UI
which appears to have the issue.
