Error description
A customer sent a SMTP mail where he all of local parts in double quote by mistake from iNotes and received a delivery failure report. I assume that you can successfully send a SMTP mail to onepop3@spiral.domain.com. 1. Connect to your mail database from iNotes. 2. Create a new mail. The correct address of recipient is onepop3@spiral.domain.com. Type "onepop3"@spiral.domain.com for the recipient's address; all of local part are quoted with double quotation mark. 3. Send the mail message. 4. You can finish sending the message but will get a delivery failure report. The report says that "User @spiral.domain.com (@spiral.domain.com@alpha.domain.com) not listed in Domino Directory" for the reason of the failure. Next lines were recorded at Domino server console at the step 4. Router thought that "@spiral.domain.com" is the name of a recipient and tried to find it in Domino directory. Quoted string is allowed to use as a part of a mail address in RFC 5322. iNotes should be able to send a mail address like an example in this report.
Local fix
You can send to the same address from Notes client.
