Error description

  • Internal review found a case where a duplicate send mail by an
Apple device might not be detected and prevented by the Send
Mail cache.

Local fix

  • NA

Problem summary

  • Notes Traveler uses a send mail cache to prevent mobile device,
in particular Apple devices from sending the same mail multiple
times.  In this scenario a timing condition was found in an HA
environment that the send mail cache might not catch the
duplicate mail send scenario.

Problem conclusion

  • The Notes Traveler server was updated to handle this scenario
correctly.
