Error description
Found internally, rare scenario that will cause an Apple device to sync the same set of Calendar updates repeatedly. End user likely will only see battery life degradation and possibly performance issues on the device. Putting in a work around to prevent this scenario.
Local fix
Only known work around is to run a reset for the user: tell traveler reset * username
