LO81511: ADMINECL WAS UPDATED AFTER NEW DOMINO SERVER WAS ADDED INTO DOMINO CLUSTER.

APAR status

• Closed as user error.

Error description

• After new Domino server was added into Domino cluster, AdminECL
  was updated.
   Administrator does not update AdminECL of Security setting.
  
  Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Prepare Domino cluster environment. ( Domino A and Domino B )
  2. Register a Notes user. ( Notes UserA and Home server is
  DominoA)
  3. Notes UserA set up the Notes client.
  4. Administrator create a security setting document and
  complete the fields on the [Execution Control List] tab to
  configure the Administration ECL as follows. (stay default)
     Admin ECL: -Default-
     Update Mode: Refresh
     Update Frequency: When Admin ECL Changes
     Click [Edit] button and update ECL of -Default-. ( Check
  "Ability to read from property broker" option )
  5. Administrator create a new policy including above security
  setting, then apply it to user (Notes UserA).
  6. Notes UserA login DominoA server.
  7. Select [File]-[Security]-[User Security].
  8. Open [Using Workstation] from [What Others Do]
  9. Updated ECL of -Default-. ( "Ability to read from property
  broker" was selected ).  The security policy setting was
  applied.
  10. UserA update ECL of -Default- (Allow all option).
  11. Administrator set up new Domino server ( Domino C ) and add
  it into Domino cluster.
  12. Notes UserA has changed to Domino C the home server of the
  location document.
  13. Shut down both Domino A and Domino B.
  14.  Notes UserA login , and access to Domino C server.
  Result:
  -Default- ECL was updated by Security policy.
  "Ability to read from property broker" option was selected.
