APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The READ status may not get to the server if a meeting notice is
  processed from the device if Domino option to remove notices
  once processed is used. Notice is removed from device before
  READ status is sent to server. Fix will change status to READ as
  part of processing action. READ status will only be changed for
  the instance the action was taken on. If other notices get
  processed as part of that processing their READ status will not
  be change (similar to what Notes does).
  

Local fix

• Set Notes preference to leave meeting notices in inbox even
  after they have been processed. After this APAR is applied this
  work around is not needed.
  

Problem summary

• If the Domino option to remove meeting notices once processed
  is turned on, the "read" status may not get sent to the server
  (Server will not know the meeting notice was seen).
  

Problem conclusion

• The Notes Traveler Server was updated to correctly handle
  sending the "read" status to the Server when the Domino option
  to remove meeting notices once processed is turned on.
  

Temporary fix

• This fix will be included in Notes Traveler
  9.0.0.1 IF6, 9.0.1 IF5 and later releases. For the latest
  maintenance releases,
