Error description

  • iNotes user uses Google Chrome to access mail file
    Create new mail and paste (do not use Insert Image button) in
    an image into the body of the email.
    Attach a file in the Attachments area and send the email.
    The email is received with the message "MIME content for this
    item is stored in attachment $RFC822.eml.  Parsing MIME content
    failed: Incorrect format in MIME data" and neither the
    attachment nor image can be viewed.
    

Local fix

  • Use Insert Image from menu to add the image instead of pasting
    it in and the issue does not reproduce.
