Error description
In some circumstances a deadlock can occur where a single Traveler thread attempts to update the MailServers table from two seprate transactions. If the database is not configured with a lock timeout then this can cause a hung thread. Cases with this issue will likely have several threads stuck in stacks that origiate from com.lotus.sync.dca.access.DominoServerPingInfo.updateDB
Local fix
Restarting the effected Traveler server can resolve the issue.
Problem summary
There was an issue where deadlook could occur when updating the mail server table, causing threads to become hung.
Problem conclusion
Notes Traveler Server was updated to avoid deadlocks on the mail server table.
Temporary fix
