Error description
Person A sends a mail to Person B. The value of "format preference for incoming mail" of Person B (recipient) must be set to "Prefers Notes Rich Text." 1. Person A opens his mail file from iNotes. 2. Person A creates a new mail message and sets Person B as a recipient. 3. Person A inserts a PNG file to the message. 4. Send the mail to Person B. 5. Person B opens his mail from iNotes. 6. Open the new message from Person A. 7. Inserted image has been converted to an attached file but it is not visible. Opening the same message from Notes client, you can see an attached PNG file.
Local fix
The problem does not occur if you insert a JPG file. The problem occurs when the format is PNG file. You do not have the problem if the value of "format preference for incoming mail" is "Keep sender's format." This problem occurs when conversion from MIME to CD occurs.
