LO79747: EMAIL ADDRESS IS INCORRECT WHEN USING REPLY ALL FROM ANDROID TRAVELER

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If an email address in the to or cc contains a & character, then
when performing reply to all from an Android device, the
resulting cc field in the composed mail will be incorrect.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • Notes Traveler client on Android is not allowing an & in the
internet address field though this is a valid character.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Not common, but & should be allowed in address field.  The Notes
Traveler client for Android devices has been updated
accordingly.

    



Temporary fix


    

  • This fix is in the latest Android 9.0.1.1 client which is
available on the Google Play store or included with the Notes
Traveler server packages for 9.0.0.1 IF6 and 9.0.1 IF5.  See
