Error description
When Notes Traveler does the look up of the recipient and the user record from the NameLookup does not have a Mail Server and Mail File fields, Notes Traveler does not use the DN name returned. This causes the encryption to fail because of the name that Notes Traveler is using does not match the name.
Local fix
Ensure that the user record has both Mail file and mail server fields set.
Problem summary
Not a very common scenario, but if sending an encrypted mail to a user that does not have a mail server and mail file defined, the encryption will fail.
Problem conclusion
The Notes Traveler server was updated to be able to handle this scenario.
Temporary fix
his fix is included in Notes Traveler 9.0.1 IF4 and 9.0.0.1 IF5 and all future releases. For the latest Notes Traveler maintenance release information please see this technote: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
