Error description
iCal invites with UTC defined AND VTIMEZONE, ignore the timezone. In one example, the iCal entry contained: DTEND;TZID=UTC:20140227T210000Z DTSTART;TZID=UTC:20140227T190000Z But also the icalendar information also contains the VTIMEZONE property, and within this parameter, the TZID is defined to be Central Standard Time. When imported to Notes, we ignore the timezone and add the entry to 7-9 PM. Other apps, Gmail and Outlook, look at the timezone and create the entry there (in this case, 2-4 EST). Is Notes working as designed per RFC 5545 or should we obey the timezone? In this example the actual meeting was 1-3 Central time.
