APAR status

Error description

  • Customer upgraded Notes client from 8.5.2FP4 SHF240 to SHF308.
    After the install completes the client will launch but either
    hangs at the splash screen or abnormally closes.
    
    Customer has already deployed this installer to one division
    successfully.  This is only affecting approximately 20% of
    users in a different division.
    
    The client will launch successfully in Basic.
    The client will NOT launch if trying to launch as Administrator.
    Renaming workspace directory fails.
    
    Replace framework folder with one from a working machine fixes
    the issue.
