Error description

  • In some traveler 901 env, which are configured with SQL
Server as backend DB , enabled with AUTO SCHEMA migration there
is a possibility of schema migration failure ( migrating from
9001 to 901 ) which causes traveler to hang during startup.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • MS SQL Server tends to be a little more particular about field
data than DB2 or Derby. In this case a null value in the field
    could fail Schema migration.

Problem conclusion

  • The Notes Traveler server has been updated to ensure non-null
    values during migration.
