Error description
Internal testing found that if a mail item did not have the Principal field set and the user marked the item as follow-up, then the Principal field would get set to the recipient. This seems common for mail sent from a non-Domino mail system. The issue has only been seen using Notes Traveler 9.0.1
Local fix
NA
Problem summary
If user flags a mail for follow up on a Mobile device and the message does not have the standard Principal field, Notes Traveler will mistakenly set the user as principal instead of the sender. This problem is only seen with the 9.0.1 Gold release.
Problem conclusion
The Notes Traveler server was updated to not set Principal field in this follow up flag update path. Principal should only be set for mail send.
Temporary fix
This fix is available in Notes Traveler 9.0.1 Interim Fix 1 (IF1) and will be included in all future releases. For the latest maintenance information for Notes Traveler please see this technote: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
