APAR status

Error description

  • When using a config.ini to
install Notes 9
the Domino server gives a strange result in the install wizard.
The config.ini is set as =>
Domino.Name=NOSKODS1/SYSTEM/DIR/SECURITAS
When starting Notes the servername is prepopulated with the
value:
@CN=NOSKODS1/OU=SYSTEM/OU=DIR/O=SECURITAS->CN=NOSKODS1/OU=SYSTEM
/OU=DIR/O=SECURITAS
When just clicking Next it returns the error that the server is
not known, and unreachable.
If you remove the @CN=.... and all the way to the "->", and then
press Next it works and installs.

Local fix

  • When using the config.ini this works for version Notes 8.5.3
