APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In decline and then later accept meeting scenarios Traveler may
send multiple accept notices. One for the original invitation
and one for each related unprocessed notices. While this does
    not
hurt anything it would be better to surpress reply notices not
needed by chair processing to correctly maintain the Notes
attendee status info for the chair.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Although this scenario is somewhat rare, customer found that if
participant declined then later accpeted some instances of a
repeating event from a Mobile device, the chair may recieve
multiple accept notices from the participant.

Problem conclusion

  • Though the Calendar entry was handled correctly, the multiple
accept notices is not the desired behavior. The Notes Traveler
server has been updated to handle this scenario correctly.
