LO77240: TRAVELER TASK TERMINATES ABNORMALLY WHEN PROCESSING MEETING RESPONSE FROM DEVICE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A meeting with large number (over 100) of unprocessed meeting
  requests caused array overrun when an accept action is taken
  from the device by the attendee for the latest notice.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Rare scenario, but if end user has more than 120 unprocessed
  update notices for a meeting the Traveler server will abnormally
  terminate as it had a fixed size array for unprocessed notices.
  

Problem conclusion

• Certainly not common to have more than 120 unprocessed notices
  for the same meeting, but the Notes Traveler server has been
  updated to handle this scenario.
  

Temporary fix

• This fix is included in Notes Traveler 9.0.0.1 IF2 and will be
  included in all future releases.  For latest Notes
