Error description
A Domino server was shutdown after evidence of a damaged template was logged. No action on this template was taken at the time, but the server would then not come back up. The customer tried common troubleshooting steps including removing the LOG.NSF and replacing NAMES.NSF but the server would still not come back up during the period of 7:30 AM (shutdown) and several failed restarts until 11:00 AM when a call was opened with support. The problem template was identified, removed, and the server started. The template was not a critical system template so there seems to be no reason why the server would not get beyond this point. Complete data sets were captured, but the template was not provided.
