LO76690: BB10 ATTENDEE STATUS RESET BY TRAVELER 9.0.0.1 PROCESSING.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Traveler does not currently support sending attendee status to
  devices. The BB10 device has processing that will use reply
  notices from the server to set the attendee status on the
  device.
  Starting with Traveler 9.0.0.1 the Traveler server support of
  EAS 14.0/14.1 does send the attendee status property but always
  with value of 'no response'. This causes the BB10 to reset the
  status is had been maintaining.
  This APAR will remove the attendee status property from the
  calendar data sent to the BB10 to allow the BB10 processing to
  manage the device attendee status.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Attendee status on Mobile device is not currently supported
  function by Notes Traveler and is not synced to the device.
  That said, BlackBerry devices try to determine on their own the
  attendee status of events.  There are cases where Notes Traveler
  is sending information to the device that will cause the device
  attendee status to be lost.
  

Problem conclusion

• The Notes Traveler server has been updated to attempt not to
  interfere with the attendee status maintained by BlackBerry
  devices.  Notes Traveler makes no claim however that the BB10
  device attendee status will match the attendee status shown on
  the server copy of the event.  Any such concerns should be
  forwarded to BlackBerry support.
  

Temporary fix

• This issue is fixed in Notes Traveler 9.0.0.1 IF1 and later
  releases.  See this technote for the latest available
