LO76626: Need to make Busy servers ERR_SERVER_BUSY as available

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• At customer site:
  
  There are three servers
  
  Server A --Primary Mail Server
  Server B -- Secondary Mail Server
  Server C -- Traveler Server
  
  Server A and B are in cluster.
  
  Server B is enabled with server_Availability_Threshold=99
  
  When server A is down, traveler server is unable to fail over
  to server B
  
  On Traveler  there is an error, Mail server B which has a
  status of status(0x49de) "Access to this server has been
  restricted due to excessive load"
  
  With same above setup and Louts Traveler version 8.5.3.200
  Build 201211281055  fail over was working
  
  Issue reproduced in the below version:
  
  IBM Notes Traveler Version: 9.0.0.1 Build 201308081248
  Domino Version: Release 9.0 HF75|
  Domino Platform: Windows/64 running on a VM (4 Processors)
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Notes Traveler was honoring error code 49de "Server Busy" when
  connecting to mail servers.  In this case, Notes Traveler should
  be considered a critical service and should connect even if the
  mail server is busy.
  

Problem conclusion

• Notes Traveler server was updated to recognize and connect to a
  mail server that is simply busy, vs restricted or otherwise
  unavailable.
  

Temporary fix

• This issue is fixed in Notes Traveler 9.0.0.1 IF1 and later
  releases.  See this technote for the latest available
  maintenance information:
