LO76572: WHEN INPUT CHINESE, FAIL TO SHOW INPUT METHOD IF ATTACHMENT IS A DDED FIRST

APAR status

Error description

• This problem is reproduced on Windows XP + IE8 + Chinese input
  method, such as
  Sogo.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  1.  Install Chinese input method, such as Sogo. But still keep
  the default
  input method as English.
  2. Open IE and go to inbox.
  3. Don't enable Chinese input method. Create a new memo.
  4. Click the attachment on the bottom and add an attachment.
  5. Move focus to To/CC/subject, enable Sogo input method and
  input some
  characters.
  
  Result:
  The input method window doesn't display at all, so cannot know
  what I input and
  cannot select the correct words in the selection list.
  But if move focus to another zone and come back, input method
  will display
  again.
  
  Note:
  1. The issue does not exist on Win7.
  2. The issue does not exist on firefox.
  

Local fix

• Move focus out of input area and move back again.
