LO75696: MOBILE IRON SENTRY GENERATES HTTP ERROR IN CONSOLE LOGS.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer reported that when using the MobileIron Sentry feature
  they would see these errors in the Domino Console every few
  minutes:
  
  HTTP JVM: uri=, indexMax=-1, and index=0. For more detailed
  information, please consult error-log-0.xml located in
  D:/Lotus/Domino/Data/domino/workspace/logs
  
  In the error-log-o.xml file would then see
  java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException at
  com.lotus.sync.servlet.ActiveSyncConstants.parseEncodedURI
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Mobile Iron Sentry is using an unexpect URL to test Notes
  Traveler availability.  The unexpected URL would cause an
  exception to be generated and logged.
  

Problem conclusion

• The Notes Traveler server was updated to recognize a URL with no
  arguments and supress the error logging.  In addition the log
  message for this issue was changed to a trace statement verse an
  error message.
  

Temporary fix

• This fix is included in Notes Traveler 8.5.3 UP2 IF3 and all
  later releases.
