LO75399: PERSONAL FOLDERS ARE MISSING SUDDENLY

APAR status

Error description

• ENV Lotus notes 8.5.3
  
  Only one user and only one database was affected by this issue.
  
  All emails in all documents are in Inbox or other
  foldesr, but previously any emails were in other folders that I
  don't  see, but there were.
  
  For creating the folders the user has done right button on
  folder, than new folder. I see that this procedure creates
  shared folders (default) and not private .
  
  These folders disappears unexpectedly, from day to day.
  In "All Documents" view we see all emails, and the emails that
  was in those folders, column folder there is nothing written
  
  We have delete calendar profile, but is the same, the folder
  don't appear.
  
  I suggested the following actions:
  
  fixup -F
  compact -c -i
  nupdall
  
  without success
  
  There is known issue: some users are inadverdently deleting
  folders in the mail navigator.
  .
  Development team has provided a R9 client notes.ini
  "DisableDelKeyForNavigator=1" to disable the delete key on
  navigator
  
  But customer said: this isn't the issue.
  The user does not accidentally deleted folders.
  
  The problem has not been replicated. The user has NOT
  accidentally deleted his personal folders, but from day to
  day have literally disappeared, and it happened only to him
  and not to other users,
  

Local fix

• have to recreate the folders
