Error description

  • CONFIGURATION:
    
    Domino 853fp3
    iNotes mail85.ntf
    Note Ensure local archiving is enabled in iNotes configuration
    document on the server.
    Regional settings set to US /english.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1. Generate new english user - as a Lotus iNotes user
    2. Send yourself a few mails (as these will be archived later).
    3. Open the Preferences in the iNotes mail file and  set "Where
    to archive" to "on my computer" otherwise user can't see the
    "Archive" link.
    4 In the Notes client for this same user,  "Edit the offline
    Configuration document" and enable the following options:
     'Push subscription settings to Lotus Domino Synch Manager'
    'Force user to accept subscription changes'.
    6. Open iNotes mail file in web browser on the Domino server
    and start to Go Offline.
    7. Installation continues..(or perhaps DOLS is already
    installed).
    8. Open mail file off-line using button "Open off-line"
    9.  Archive one/more document/s
    10. Open this archive off-line - you see that one/more
    document/s is/are archived .
    11. Close archive window which has just opened. yes
    11. Using Lotus Domino Sync Manager - Start synchronise mail
    subscription with Domino server using button Start Sync - the
    synch is working.
    12. Using Lotus Domino Sync Manager - synchronise again mail
    subscription with Domino server.
    The message "The Administrator has modified the settings for
    this subscription, customized settings will be overwritten"
    appears.

    Notice that after this the button "Open off-line" in the Lotus
    Domino Sync Manager is disabled.
    13. Using the notes client send yourself a mail.
    14. Use the sync manager to sync mails
    15. Open DOLS offline -not via the offline button since its
    disabled but via the UI
    
    ACTUAL RESULT:
    A different number of mails appear offline than online.
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    The same mails appear online as offline
    
    The sync manager does not synch mails
