APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Traveler autoprocesses Cancel notices if user has ActiveSync
    device. This confuses some users since them may not see a
    notification on the device. Traveler changes will not
    autoprocesc cancel if Notes user has Notes conifigured to
    autoprocess or if notes.ini setting
    NTS_AS_AUTOPROCESS_CANCEL=false is configured.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Some customer prefer Traveler not Autoprocess Calendar updates
    as generally when this is done the notice is not sent to the
    device about the change.
    

Problem conclusion

  • New config option available to turn this off on the Traveler
    server:
    
    NTS_AS_AUTOPROCESS_CANCEL=false
