Error description

  • Problem description:
    
    User A sent a doclink to user B and C. The document which the
    doclink  was
    referring to has somehow being deleted. When user B (using
    R8.0.2)
    tries to open the link, a dialog box "Document has been deleted"
    was prompted.
    However when user C (using R8.5.1) tries to open the link, A
    
    dialog box "Server Error: Access to this server has been
    restricted due to
    excessive load".
    
    Steps to Reproduce:
    
    Created one Team room database on Primary Server and create
    replica on
    Secondary Server (Cluster)
    
    On Notes client Workspace :
    
    
    Teamroom replica of Primary server exists.
    
    Created one document with Admin.id in teamroom and sent the
    doclink to
    user1.
    
     user1 could open the document with the link without any issue.
    
     Admin deleted the document from Teamroom database.
    
      When user clicks on doclink, gets the error 'document has been
    deleted'
    
    
    On Notes client Workspace:
    
    
    
    Added Teamroom replica of secondary server to the stack.
    
      If the Secondary server replica on top of the stack, user is
    getting the
    error  'document has been deleted'
    
     If the Primary server replica on top of the stack, user is
    getting the error
    "Server Error: Access to this server has been restricted due to
    
    excessive load"
    

Local fix

  • Keep replica of Secondary Server on top of the stack.
    

Problem summary

  • This APAR is closed as FIN. We have deferred the fix to a
     future release.
