Error description
Customer is using Lotus Notes version 8.5.2 and is unable to attach files with Chinese characters in the filename when using Windows 7 When trying to attach files that have Chinese file names, an error "file does not exist" occurs. Customer us using Windows 7 64-bit and Windows XP 32-bit. This only occurs on Windows 7, even though they have the same Notes client versions. Please find an attachment that causes this issue attached to the SPR.
Local fix
L2 tested with Notes 8.5.3 FP3 on Windows 7 and can confirm that in that version it is possible to attach the provided sample attachment which contains Chinese characters in the name and send an email with it successfully. See screenshot attached to SPR.
