Problem summary
Customer reported that on some of their Windows systems the Traveler service would crash immediately after startup. Once hit it would happen regularly on that system, but only happened on a very small number of Windows servers.
Problem conclusion
An issue with memory management during startup was found. The problem would only cause a crash on a small number of random servers as in most cases the errant memory did not effect anything critical.
Temporary fix
This fix will be included in Notes Traveler 8.5.3.200 IF1 and all later releases. See this technote for the latest maintenance information: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
