LO72811: INVALID HOST IP WAS DETECTED BUT NOT LOGGED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When Notes Traveler detected invalid host IP address the service
  does not start as expected, but there was no error message
  stating why the service did not start.
  
  This APAR is to improving logging and messages so that it will
  be easier for customer determine what is wrong.
  

Local fix

• Fix the invalid parameter
  

Problem summary

• Customer who had multiple IP addresses or missing IP address may
  have server startup issues, but not understand how to resolve.
  

Problem conclusion

• The warning code for this problem was improved so clear
  instructions on how to resolve were included in the error
  messages during startup.
  

Temporary fix

• This fix will be included in Notes Traveler 8.5.3.200 IF1 and
  all later releases.  See this technote for the latest
