Error description
iso6 sent a request notice with user as chair when the device user was really an attendee and had declined a instance of a repeating meeting from the device. Traveler sent an invitation to all the attendees for this instance. This has happened once and does not seem to be recreatable. The users calendar on device and server remained correct with the user still an attendee and the declined instance removed. Fix is to discard a request notice when the user is not the chair.
Local fix
Problem summary
Occurance of this problem seems quite rare, but have seen at least a few instances of an Apple iOS 6 device sending up changes for meeting as the meeting chair, when in fact the user was an attendee.
Problem conclusion
Fix for this is to ignore chair action from an Apple device when the user is an attendee and not meeting chair.
Temporary fix
This fix is included in Notes Traveler 8.5.3 Upgrade Pack 2 and all later releases. For latest maintenance information see this technote: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
