Error description

  • From ios6 device, a this and future update/reschedule starting
    from 2nd instance of repeating event creates duplicate calendar
    entries.
    ios6 behavior has changed in this scenario which breaks Traveler
    code to merge the event split by the device back into 1 event.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Reschedule or update from 2nd instance of recurring meeting on
    iSO 6 devices may cause duplicate meetings.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This is actually a work around for an Apple device issue only
    seen with iOS 6 devices.  The problem has been reported to Apple
    support as well.
