APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • This issue is reported for users with sametime chat history save
to mail file. Issue happen for 8.0.2 client or 8.5.x client.
After migration chat servers to 8.5.2 domino and Sametime,
customer also change authentication to AD.

What is issue - Some names in chat history are show with AD full
name which is not required. e.g.abc,
OU=people,DC=company,DC=com. Some names are show
correctly by first name and last name only, this is required.
All names are correct in buddy list.

Local fix

  • There is no workaround, users have problem to identifying names
in chat history.

 release.
