Error description

  • Customer reported that some users where being applied to a
    security policy when the use was in the exclude list.  This
    seems to happen when there is a space before or after the user
    name when entered in the list.

Problem summary

  • Lotus Traveler device settings policy was applied to a user in
    the Exclude list.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Problem was only seen if the user had whitespace characters
    before or after it in the Exclude list.  Lotus Traveler server
    was updated to handle the whitespace characters as they are
    valid in the list dialog.
