LO66980: ATTACHMENT WITH SPACES IN THE NAME NOT SYNCHED TO DEVICES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• There are some wav files that are not downloaded to the Android
  device because the way Lotus Notes Traveler was identifying
  documents with spaces in their name.  This APAR will allow these
  documents to be downloaded to device, by changing how the
  attachments are referenced.
  
  Since the reference of the document is changing, old documents
  will have to be resynched to the device to work, but new
  documents will be able to be downloaded to the device.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Some attatchments containing a space character in the name would
  not sync to Android devices.
  

Problem conclusion

• The way attachment names are handled was updated to allow the
  Android device to be able to download these attachments.
  

Temporary fix

• This fix will be included in Lotus Traveler 8.5.3.2 and later
  releases.  Please see this technote for latest available
