Error description
Customer noticed that if you have "Remove meeting notices from my Inbox after I process them" unchecked, then when you decline a meeting from a Mobile device they get a decline message in their Inbox. This is actually expected behavior, but should be something to the effect "You have declined this meeting" not the same message sent to the meeting chair "JohnDoe has declined this meeting"
Local fix
NA
Problem summary
Function is actually working as designed. Customer has selected to retain meeting invites in the inbox after processing them. In order to do this on Apple device a message must be synced to the device after processing the event.
Problem conclusion
The change in this APAR is to make it more clear in the message sent to the Apple device that this is a meeting notice that the user has already taken action on.
Temporary fix
This fix will be included in Lotus Traveler 8.5.3.2 and later releases. See this technote for the latest Lotus Traveler maintenance information. http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
