LO66540: PHANTOM ALARMS ON ANDROID AFTER REBOOT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If the user's calendar contains an event that spans multiple
  days, and that event has an alarm associated with it, any time
  the Traveler client is started on an Android device, 2 calendar
  alarms will be published to the device's notification area.
  Acting on the notification brings up the expired alarms list,
  which is empty.
  

Local fix

• There is no work around.
  

Problem summary

• Extra Alarms being generated for events that span multiple days.
  

Problem conclusion

• Customer would create an alarm for an event that spans multiple
  days and the Android device would display more than one alarm
  notification.  The Lotus Traveler client for Android devices has
  been update to handle this scenario correctly.
  

Temporary fix

• This fix will be included in Lotus Traveler 8.5.3.2 and later
  releases.  Please see this technote for latest available
