LO66082: LDAP SEARCH FOR GROUP MEMBERSHIP FAILS ON AIX

APAR status

Error description

• The customer has installed Domino 8.5.3 on AIX
  He cannot get LDAP to return the groups a user is a member of.
  He uses the following search
  
  ldapsearch -x -h simca.polar.grp:389
  "(&(objectclass=dominogroup)(member=cn=petri onnela,o=PEG))"
  # extended LDIF
  #
  # LDAPv3
  # base <> with scope subtree
  # filter: (&(objectclass=dominogroup)(member=cn=petri
  onnela,o=PEG))
  # requesting: ALL
  #
  
  # search result
  search: 2
  result: 32 No such object
  
  # numResponses: 1
  
  Other searches work fine.
  Various variations of the search were tried for groups but all
  failed
  
  I have tested this on Domino 8.5.3 on windows 32, where it
  correctly returns
  the groups
