LO65225: POLICY ASSIGNMENT REMOVED IF GROUP NOT FOUND.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer reported that they assign Domino Policy to users via
  group assignment.  They found that the group assignment would
  not be honored by Lotus Traveler if the group was not found on
  the Traveler server.  The group assignment needs to look through
  all known Domino directories.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Customer was using groups for policy enforcement.  The groups
  were not in the local names.nsf but found in a remote
  directory catalog.
  

Problem conclusion

• It was found the API being used would not search the remote
  databases.  Switched to an API call that did make the
  appropriate search calls.
  

Temporary fix

• This fix will be included in Lotus Traveler 8.5.3.2 and later
  releases.  Please see this technote for latest available
