Error description

  • User reported repeated intermittent problems syncing with
    android device.  On the device they would see error messages
    similar to:
    
    Controller.setState:2265 unable to determine reason for
    connection
    error, so leaving error code as 4
    
    and
    
    Controller.setState:2265 unable to determine reason for
    connection
    error, so leaving error code as 24

Problem summary

  • Customer reported that Android device users would intermittently
    be unable to sync data.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Something in the customer's network environment is making it
    possible for packets to be recieved without the content length
    specified.  The Android client has been updated to handle an
    unkown/unspecified content length.
