Error description
Lotus Symphony crash occurred after leaving Lotus Notes, with the embedded Symphony, running for multiple days without a restart. 1.) Enable the option to load Lotus Symphony when the OS starts. 2.) Enable the options to set Lotus Symphony to the default editor for all word processing documents (i.e. .doc, .docx, etc) 3.) Run Lotus Notes for at least 48 hours. 4.) Open a .doc from the desktop (or Windows explorer), so it will open in Lotus Symphony/Lotus Notes. 5.) Result: Lotus Notes will not respond and the OS will report the error that soffice.exe is not responding. Checked the /logs folder, and there were soffice dump logs indicating that Symphony crashed.
