APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customer reported that after some amount of time syncing the
    Android device would loose connectivity with the Lotus Traveler
    server.  At the same time would see cookie expiration errors
    on the server.
    
    Issue appears to be with cookie handling on the Android client.
    

Local fix

  • Power off and back on device will force refresh of cookies and
    sync to resume.
    

Problem summary

  • Customer experienced connectivity issues with Android devices.
    The particular customre environment had both a proxy server and
    Apache web server involved in the network path.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The problem was tracked to the Android client not storing
    cookies correctly.  Although possible in other customer
    environments this has only been reported against this one
    particular network setup so far.
