Error description
When processing a large number of changes for a given user the NullPointerException happens in convertMDI2SyncObjs. These documents are not synched to the device.
Local fix
Possible work around is to do Tell Traveler Reset * <UserId> which will cause the data to be refreshed on the device. This will possible not hit the error condition.
Problem summary
Customer reported seeing a lot of these error messages in the log and the user would experience slow syncing or would not sync all items: SEVERE ... BackEndMonitor.convertMDI2SyncObjs#723 BADTRACE Exception Thrown: java.lang.NullPointerException and WARNING .... BackEndMonitor.convertMDI2SyncObjs#724
Problem conclusion
The Lotus Traveler server was updated to handle this error condition correctly.
Temporary fix
