LO59710: UNABLE TO USE LOTUS ODBC DRIVERS WITH LSXODBC, ON AIX 64-BIT

Error description

  • Issues have been reported when using LSXODBC with the Lotus ODBC
driver on AIX 64-bit.

After installing the drivers, and going through the process to
convert them from LSXLC-compatible
mode to LSXODBC-compatible mode (reference technote 1388574), it
continues to
generate the error: "Error loading USE or USELSX module:
*LSXODBC".

It may also produce a crash.

An LSXLC script using the standard, non-converted drivers works
just fine.  This appears to be
an issue specific to LSXODBC.

Local fix

  • Use LSXLC instead, if possible.
