Error description
The NotesSQL documentation clearly states that we can use either a Notes Client or a Domino Server notes.ini to connect to Domino. In NotesSQL 3.0.2, this worked using either option. Once the customer upgraded to Domino 8.5 and NotesSQL 8, using a Domino Server notes.ini now fails. The Domino server is local to the NotesSQL driver, and the path statement is correct. There is no error, but the no servers appear in the dropdown list when creating the DSN. Once a Notes Client was installed, and the path statement changed to point to the Client's notes.ini, it began working normally.
Local fix
Install a Notes Client local to the NotesSQL driver, and use the client's notes.ini instead.
