Error description

  • Notes Minder instead of Notes Client gets pinned to the Windows
7 taskbar

The issue occurs in 8.5.2 FP1 but also in 8.5.2 with brand new
installations and upgrades.

SPR # KSOR826HFR "Lotus Notes cannot be pinned to Windows 7 task
bar" does not match the issue as you can pin now which was not
possible before 8.5.2 but it pins the wrong Application now in
50 % of the cases.

No pattern could be found why in around 50 % of the new
installations or upgrades the Notes Minder is pinned instead of
the Notes Client.

When it occurs you can see that the Icon is the one from the
Notes Minder not the Notes Client.
