Error description
Problem here is that the content type returned to LMI was text/plain; charset=UTF-8 when we are expecting just text/plain Fix is to change the HTTPRequest handler so that it looks at the response and checks if it starts with the expected content type rather than just equals it.
Local fix
Problem summary
Customer reported problems with Lotus Installer being able to install the Lotus Traveler client when the server was using SSL.
Problem conclusion
In this case the issue had to do with an unexpected HTTP header. The Android Lotus Installer and Lotus Traveler clients were updated to handle this case.
Temporary fix
An Interim Fix is available upon request. This fix will be included in Lotus Notes Traveler 8.5.2.2 and any future releases. http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
