Error description
Notes client displays dialogs of "You are not authorized to access that database" if there is database links which is not authorized to access in User Setup Profile document. If the number of databases is 20, 20 dialogs appear. Notes user can not understand the message, because the dialogs appear suddenly for client user. For example, the dialogs appear when Notes client is setuped, or on everyday work on Notes client. The issue is regression in 8.5.2. In case of using Notes 8.5.1FP5, the issue does not reproduce. Steps and reproduce: Use Notes client 8.5.2. 1. Create new User Setup Profile document. (Note: The document is not a Setup Setting document in Policy.) Actually, Select [Create]-[Server]-[Other] in Notes menu, after selecting "All Server Documents" view. And select "Server\User Setup Profile" to create the document. 2. Paste many database links in field "default databases added to bookmark" on the database tab in the document. These databases have No Access in ACL for Bob. Bob not authorized to access these databases. 3. Bob is registered and he installs and setups Notes client. When setuping, the dialogns "You are not authorized to access that database" appear. 20 dialogs are displayed if the number of databases with No Access is 20. 4. Administrator rewrites the Setup Profile document. The dialogs appears when Notes client restarts and opens mail database or names.nsf
